We Made It Back;
Well, I haven't been able to post since Friday, which I guess is good news! We made it to LA. Emily's mom is doing fine. We had a great time, doing all of the tourist stuff. We hit Skybar, The Concorde, Venice Beach, Santa Monica, Melrose, Rodeo, and the Hollywood Hills. We have a couple of new favorite places to eat including The Ivy, Barney's Beanery and Mel's Diner. I was really impressed with Hollywood and Beverly Hills. I hope to make it back there in the next few months.

Waiting on the Call....
So I'm supposed to be heading to LA this afternoon... however, Emily's mother is having some complications (which I will not get into at this point) and has been hospitalized. Seems like she'll be allright, just some negative reactions to some medicine, but Emily probably will want to be close to her family this weekend so we'll most likely stay here. Kinda sucks. I was really looking forward to getting away...
